Chaz Lucius completed his hat trick with the overtime winner as the U.S. outscored Sweden 8-7 to win the bronze medal at the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Jiri Kulich scored with 50 seconds left in overtime to give Czechia a dramatic 2-1 semi-final win over Sweden and a berth in the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship gold medal game. It's Czechia's first appearance in the final in 22 years.

Victor Stjernborg scored shorthanded with just 1:05 left in the third period to lift Sweden to a 3-2 comeback win over Finland in their quarter-final game.

Connor Bedard set up three Canada goals in the first 12 minutes of the game – and added a fourth in the third period – to lead the team to a hard-fought 5-1 win over Sweden.

Ludvig Jansson scored at 1:35 of overtime to give Sweden a 3-2 win over Czechia and stay undefeated to remain in first place of Group A.

Sweden started its 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship campaign with a one-sided 11-0 win over Austria.
