Whether you have a ticket for the games or not – the Official Fan Zone Zurich offers a wide range of activities and highlights waiting for you. Perfect to experience the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship up close.
Highlights
- Live public viewing – Watch the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship live on the big screen in the Official Fan Zone. Games will be selected from both venues on a daily basis. Open air as well as weather protected spaces are available.
- Food & Beverage – A variety of stands offering a diverse culinary selection. From traditional dishes like fondue to exotic specialties – there is something for everyone.
- Championship Trophy – Take a picture with the official trophy of the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. You will find it at the Skoda activation space near the Official Fan Zone entrance.
- Official Merchandise Shop – Stop by at the Official Merchandising Shop in front of the arena or at the Official Fan Zone – or find your preferred fan gear online.
- Official Sponsor and Partner areas – Participate in exciting activities offered by the Official Sponsors and Partners of the 2026 IIHF WM. Take part in the competitions on offer and get the chance to win prizes
- Synthetic ice rink – Inspired by the pros? Step onto the ice yourself and try out ice hockey on our synthetic ice rink. Equipment is available on site. Equipment is available on site for free. Or join us on 23 May at 12.30h for the Swiss Legends Game and autograph session involving former Swiss National Team players.
- Ice Hockey Mini-Golf – Challenge your friends as you make your way across the Official Fan Zone. A highlight for all ages.
- Live concerts and DJs – Enjoy music, shows, and a high-energy entertainment program throughout the event. On 16 May at 19.00h you can for example enjoy the live performance of the 2026 IIHF WM Official Song by Bastian Baker.
- Beer Garden – Enjoy a beverage and soak up the atmosphere while getting into the perfect mood.
You can reach the Official Fan Zone from the Swiss Life Arena via the Walk of Legends. Hunt for and collect stars from former and active ice hockey legends. By participating, you can win tickets every day. Information regarding your arrival by different means of transportation may be found here.

Payment at the food and beverage stalls as well as at the Official Merchandise Shop is by card only. We accept all major cards (e.g., Visa, Mastercard).
Event Regulations
All visitors to the Official Fan Zone are subject to security screening at the entrance. Details regarding our rules and safety guidelines are available in our Event Regulations. Bag storage facilities can be found in front of the arena.

Three-game days (16/17/23/26 May): 10.30 AM – 12 AM
